Not that you can tell, as, you know, it’s a photo, in which the battery isn’t actually plugged in, as my transmitter’s gone flat. So you’ll just have to take my word for that.
In other news, I’m starting to think this thing:
Might be better off placed here:
Than in my biomedical systems prototype (brief back story: I take a biomedical engineering module as part of my degree, we’re designing a system to properly align people’s hip replacements, our group’s system uses an IMU to get the angle etc., and I’ve got ’till Tuesday morning to have a working prototype). Not being a surgeon, I can’t really comment from a position of experience, but I suspect it’s not ideal to have to spend ~20min re-flashing the bootloader after 15 seconds of usage.
Anyhow, rant over (was that a rant? It felt rantoid while typing, but I’m not sure on the re-read). I’ll eventually get around to writing proper posts about these things, but deadlines, apathy, and the general low-level troubles of continued existence tend to get in the way, so, for the time being, I’ll just spew one of these short updates from time to time, when I get bored. They’ll probably all be as rambling as this, so, as compensation, have a happy duckling.
